Community events are a great way to get out of the house and enjoy everything New Lisbon has to offer. Year-round, there are plenty of area festivals, events, and activities for residents of all ages. Bring the whole family, make it a date night, or round up your closest friends to attend these fun festivities.

Farmer's Market. Every Thursday, 2 to 6 p.m.; every Sunday, 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Come enjoy locally grown crops and locally made treats and artisan goods at the New Lisbon Farmer's Market, which begins in April and lasts until October. It's a great way to get your hands on fresh, seasonal food while also giving back to the local community.

Wa Du Shuda Days Festival. July 6, 7, and 8.

New Lisbon's annual community festival, Wa Du Shuda - which means "rest your canoe here" in Ho-Chunk - promises great food, vendors, music, and games to enjoy. The theme for this year is "Back to the Stone Age," promising fun activities based on prehistoric times with dinosaurs and cavemen.

Juneau County Fair. August 12-19.

Celebrate 153 years of the Juneau County Fair. Take advantage of carnival rides, yummy treats, and attractions such as a rodeo and tractor pull. See everything the local community has to offer while also enjoying the rich heritage of the county in which New Lisbon resides.

Harvest Festival at Burr Oak Winery. September 8 and 9, 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. both days.

Ever wanted to take a wagon tour of a vineyard? You can do that here at the local Burr Oak Winery, in addition to wine tastings, cooking demonstrations, food, arts, and crafts. The event holds a Grape Stomp at 3:00 p.m. on both days, featuring participants dressed in historical costumes based on the infamous grape-stomping episode of "I Love Lucy."
